The Evansburg Challenge continues to provide a wonderful chance for grownups to cavort on the mud, play
in the creek and run thru the woods with hardly any clothes on. This park's rustic but very doable trails provide great fall
scenery to the runners, a placid retreat for the neighboring stables and a mud that could make your shoes grow from a size 9
to an 11 even before you finish; it's THAT fertile! The "EC" is a great race for newbies that want to try a trail run. The
trails are flat, fairly clean and you pass the finish at 4.5 miles, in case if you've bitten off more than you can chew. And yet
its two shallow but wide creek crossings, its legendary mud "potential" and its closeness to Philly helps it attract some of
